Hi.
I’m sorry, but I don’t know why that’s happening.
Maybe try to contact InfluxDB support or open an issue in their forum.

Let me know if you find something.

Regards,
Sara

I have tried the example code from your tutorial “ESP32: Getting Started with InfluxDB”, the example code generated by the InfluxDB UI getting started page and the example code from the InfluxDB official instructions. I have tried both secure and insecure modes. I have also tried an installation in an RPI4. In each case I get “connection refused”.

Hi.
What is the example code that you’re testing?

Sara

It appears to run correctly–I can log in and get to the dashboard per the tutorial, but running the example code I get “connection refused” errors.
I have confirmed that InfluxDB is running by logging in via SSH. I have also run the example code to connect to an online account and confirmed that the code works.

What else can I test?

I have executed the setup and in principle everything works very well. As already mentioned in the post above (haralt) I would like to move the data directory from the SD card to a directory mounted under /mnt/hdd.
So far I have spent hours searching for a possibility. Unfortunately I only find useless entries.
My system is a RaspberryPi 3 with a 64GB SD card. It is running:
Raspberry Pi OS Lite
Release date: November 19th 2024
System: 64-bit
Kernel version: 6.6
Debian version: 12 (bookworm)
and the InfluxDB v2.5.1

Does anyone have an idea how I can change the directories?
Thanks and best regards
Christian

Hi.
You can create another API token on the InfluxDB dashboard interface and use that one instead.

Sara

after following your instructions (installation was smooth) I missed to note down the operator API token. Can I view this via CLI?
Thanks, Frank
