Hi.
The anemometer we’re using has this specs:
Input voltage: 12-24V DC
Output voltage: 0-5V
Measurement range: 0-32.4m/s
Resolution: +/- 0.3m/s

We have a link to maker advisor with some links where you can buy the sensor: https://makeradvisor.com/tools/anemometer-wind-speed-sensor/

Regards,
Sara

Hi Sara,

Can you help with making the RS485 version of the sensor work? Instead of an analog output sensor as the one here, thanks!

Hi.
You can use our OLED tutorial as a reference: https://randomnerdtutorials.com/guide-for-oled-display-with-arduino/

Thanks for the excellent tutorials. I am a newbie at Arduino; the codes work fine for me.
I want to level up: how do we display the wind speed on an LED or OLED display instead of a Serial monitor?

Hi.
What’s the reference of the anemometer?

Sendo um anemometro, o mesmo normalmente é colocado em zonas altas ou mesmo no terreno. Como alimentar nesses casos com 13 V em zonas onde não existe corrente elétrica.
Como distinguir o gnd dos 12V.
Obrigado

How do we use the two wire anemometer? I tried reading the signal using analog input pin but I got nothing

Can you please point out the pros and cons, of using an anemometer like the one in this tutorial (0-5V output) versus using one with RS485 output?
